Swades is a social entrepreneurship event of Consortium 18. Organised by the Entrepreneurship Cell, the event which aims to understand the social problems in rural India and using an entrepreneurial mindset to solve them. Swades lets the participants form a business plan that focuses on a particular problem and returns with a sustainable solution. Participants are taken to village to understand first-hand the actual ground level problems.
